What are the meaning of "W" and "(G)" on the name plate of Manual Die head 1/4"-3/8"?

CODE NO : 20114 DIE-HEAD BSPT 1/4"-3/8" (BSW3/8"-1")
CODE NO. : AS109 DIE-HEAD BSPT 1/4"-3/8" BE25
Since this die head is shared with gas / water pipe (G) and bolt thread(W), the indications "G1/4"" and "G3/8"" are BSPT (tapered thread for pipe) for gas / water pipe.
The indications of numeric size only (3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8" and 1") are "W" show bolt size in "BSW".
In order to distinguish which 3/8"is "W" or "G", it is indicated with or without "G".
